A BILL

To ensure poor people do not bear the brunt of the costs of rich people's wars.

SECTION 1: FINDINGS

WHEREAS

People from the lower rungs of the economic latter make up a disproportionate percentage of the military

WHEREAS

Such people bear the costs in blood of the imperialist exploits of the rich

WHEREAS

The rich should have to pay for the wars which they deem necessary to fight

THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED by the Congress here assembled:

The Rich People Selective Service Act shall be issued to deal with these problems and shall take into effect upon passage by Congress and signature by the President.

SECTION 2: PROVISIONS

1) Any US citizen above the age of 18 whose pre-tax income is equal to or greater than $150,000 a year is automatically conscripted to the United States military.

2) Income listed as 'business expenses' shall be considered the same as income.

3) Conscripted terms of service shall be no less than four years in duration.

SECTION 3: CONCLUSIONS

1) This bill shall require that all US citizens earning $150,000 or more a year register for the selective service within 30 days of the passage of this act or face severe criminal penalties of at least 15 years incarceration.

2) This bill shall require that all citizens submit verification of their pre-tax income to the Selective Service Agency.

3) Fraudulent income forms shall met with severe penalties of at least 15 years incarceration

4) Conscientious Objector status to the Rich People Selective Service Act will not be honored or considered.

SECTION 4 TIME OF IMPLEMENTATION

This Bill shall go into effect immediately after date it is signed by the President of the United States
