I have just joined the forum
I whipped through a couple of threads and it seems most users are using filters. Which in my opinion is the only way to go. (if you have the bankroll) But does anyone use "Compressions" in conjunction with regular filtering. Or I am the only that does???? Say for a Pick 7 game, you choose your 5-6 filters, each having a set of between 3-10 integers in each set, and each set is pushed for a 1-2 for each set. After you have generated a full wheel you end up with say 1.7-2.5 million combinations. Then you run multiple compressions (Just a note here: Compressions DO NOT EVER FAIL, EVER)on the whole set, and squeeze her down to 20K. yes 20K. Assuming your 5-6 filters all pass, you have effectivley squeezed out all the 5/7s and 6/7s winning combinations in this fantastic set of 20, 000 combinations. You run a skip on her, and bingo bango you grab a bunch of 5's and maybe a 6/7, but a whole lot of 4/7's. You end up paying for your tickets, that might have cost you $100-$200 and you do it again for the next draw. And you just keep recycling your winnings until you nail a 6/7+ and then you up your spend to $1000.00/draw and eventually you nail the 7/7. Simple plan and it is just as easily as it is said as it is done. Cheers The Realpoorboy Or have said too much |

Hi RealPoorboy,
welcome to the forum. Must admit I am not familiar with 'compressions'. Could you enlighten the forum on what you mean by this and how we might construct such a compression. And at this stage I have to agree that it is easily said but not so sure it is easily done d regards |

The way compressions work: Let say you have 8 sets of integers, each set has 15 integers in it. There can be duplicate integers between the sets. These are sets you track and keep an excellent accurate history of. When you do a reverse anaylysis of the integers in each set you find some of the sets have 1 or 5 or 0 or 2 of the winning drawn numbers in each set. So the range is somewhere between 0-5 for each set and you don't know which set will have what amount of the winning numbers. But you do know that one of the sets will have 5 of the winning drawn numbers (the higher the better). You take your Master set of combinations and you force each set of integers to pass through the combinations as a 5-5 I force all 8 sets at the same time, then take the output files and concatenate them together, and make another much reduced master set again, then open them in Covermaster and rip out the duplicates. This technique massively rips out all the low tier prizes and forces the remaining sets to very rich in higher tier prizes. If the sets are forced as 3-3 then there will be a lot of low tier prizes as well. That is why i like to force them as high as possible without ripping out the winning jackpot combo. I am just going through LA2.2, and it is very thorough program. Congrats on all the design work you have done Some of the techniques I have used in the past and have discarded them. Typically right now I only use 4-6 filters sets (each has set having 5-10 integers.) Each filter set is set as [1-2]. This will produce a master set of between 1.5 - 2.5 million combinations. I perform 3-5 compressions on the master set,-> this gives me between 10K -30K combinations. After that I just run a skip on the remaining set and try and grab as many of the larger tier prizes as possible. I have learned too many filters are dangerous. If one of the above filters fail I will chase it for a 3-4 draws and then abondon it. I hope this has helped The Realpoorboy. |
