I just bought a set of kayak stabilizers that has made standing in my kayak while fishing a real dream. i was going to make them myself but discovered it was cheaper to buy them from these guys at www.keywestpaddlesports.com. $139 for the set of stabilizers. i opted to get the optional brackets as well to mount without having to use the nylon strapping that comes with the set. The brackets were only $15.00... check them out..
