Anyone share my view that the bloke at the station needs sacking. The creep hides in his "office" drinkiing tea, smoking fags and avoiding anything remotely like the work he is paid to do.
He turned off the public address system having been moaned at by a resident leaving us with no information and at atime of security alerts this is surely a health and safety issue? When the fool does ude his initiative (we smell burning) and make an announcement it is invariably wrong and I've got on a train going to the wrong destination serveal times thanks to him. Surely there's a trained chimp that can do the job better and cheaper? |

Have never had any complaints about the staff at Barnehurst station. I think they do a fine job under difficult circumstances.
A far more important issue is the fact that they have closed one of the ticket office windows resulting in huge queues There is a petition for the reopening of the second window. I think the lady in the newsagent has the petition and I would urge everybody to sign it. |

Well if people have a brain they don't wait til Monday morning to get their annual ticket renewed, they plan ahead. The queues of fools on a Monday morning amuse me every week. |

I agree that people should think ahead and not wait until Monday to purchase their season tickets etc.
However long queues arise every day and is made far worse by the closing of one of the windows. OK they have automatic ticket machines. These may be OK if you just wish to buy a ticket, but in my case I wanted to ask a specific question and I could not talk to a machine. It is a further erosion of the service. Surely you can see that? - For what passengers have to pay (I use the word passengers and not customers) I think the conditions are deplorable. I do not blame the staff. As I said earlier, they do a great job under difficult conditions. |

The service gets worse and worse. I was given a survey last week fro which it was clear that the train operators intend charging extrs for peak time travel.
This pathetic government will let them do it, too. The pathetic excuse that lurks in the station still wants sacking. |

ha ha - that did make me laugh. I've been a commuter at Barnehurst for the last 18 years and how come he is permitted to smoke at work ???????
Another moan - how come the station manager is allowed to park in the disabled bays in the car park - he doesn't own a disabled badge - one rule for one springs to mind.... Oh and just more thing - thanks to the idiot who reversed into my new red mini cooper whilst parked along the side bays by the shoe repairers and drove off without leaving any insurance details, just before xmas. You have just cost me a repair bill for the huge dent of over £1000 !!!!! Jo |

Ticket inspectors at the station this morning checking to make sure peeps had paid. Good stuff. Too many freeloaders and scallies on the trains that we end up paying for.
